I believe these daily prompts are making me philosophical, as I find myself inclined to offer a philosophical response now. :) Each day is a lesson in itself, with life presenting various challenges that we navigate through. To touch upon the query,my passion for Sanskrit has seen me fervently exploring its rich texts. Recently, I’ve become thoroughly captivated by Sanskrit grammar, though it hasn’t been an entirely smooth journey due to some misunderstandings between us. :)
Just this morning, in my usual weekly Sanskrit class, I learned a new verse from Bhoja Champu and few other aspects related to Grammar. So learning should never stop according to me as it keeps you young and sharp. And what does our beloved Sanskrit teach us about learning? विद्या परादेवता (vidyā parādevatā), proclaiming Knowledge as the supreme divine force. विद्या भोगकरी यशः सुखकरी (vidyā bhogakarī yaśaḥ sukhakarī), suggesting that knowledge is the wellspring of enjoyment, fame, and bliss. The revered adage विद्याधनम् (vidyādhanam), equating knowledge to wealth, underscores the invaluable essence of learning. They did not coin this phrase lightly, indeed.
