Today, I’m diving into a review of Olive and June nail polishes, a brand that’s been on my radar for quite a while, prompting me to finally take the leap. Reflecting on my youth, I remember frequently switching up my nail polish, dedicating entire blocks of time to perfecting my nails, even at the expense of attending classes or completing homework. The patience I had for coloring my nails every other day astounds me now as an adult; oh, the bliss of youthful enthusiasm!
Olive and June tout their product as offering long-lasting color, ease of application with their signature “Poppy,” and an acetone bottle designed for effortless polish removal. The standout for me was undoubtedly the acetone bottle, which simplified the removal process significantly—just by inserting and twisting your finger. The “Poppy” was satisfactory, aiding in a more precise application. Additionally, the kit includes an eraser for tidying up any excess polish.
However, the shipping duration was a notable downside, taking a month to reach me. Surprisingly, this was longer than some international shipments, a delay unexpected within the USA. That said, for those in a hurry or unable to visit a salon, this product is a worthwhile investment. Given my current routine of cooking and baking, the polish tends to last about three days before needing a touch-up. Despite the shipping wait, it’s overall a solid purchase. I opted for a combination of bold and subtle colors. There was a 30% off as part of the Valentine’s Day special, so I availed myself of that offer.
