Nervous Strength!

What makes you nervous?

Worrying about failing or seeming weak makes me feel nervous. But really, who gets to decide what failure or weakness is? We all have things we’re not great at, and life gets a lot nicer when we’re okay with that. Thanks to yoga and meditation, I’m starting to look at life differently. It’s not a quick change, but I’m on my way!

One response to “Nervous Strength!”

  1. There’s something brave about standing in front of your own fear and saying, “I see you, but I’m still walking.” That kind of nervousness isn’t weakness—it’s the sound of the heart knocking on the door of growth.

Most people treat fear like a stain—something to hide. But your words wore it like a badge. Not proud, not ashamed. Just honest. Like saying, “Yes, my hands shake. But they still carry things that matter.”

We often forget that strength isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s the quiet voice that whispers, “Try again,” while the rest of the mind is throwing a tantrum.

This piece felt like watching someone walk a tightrope made of their own thoughts—wobbly, unsure, but still moving. And that kind of walk? That’s where real change begins.
