My favorite holiday is any time spent with Family. Since i stay away from my family for the most part of the year, I cherish any opportunity that i get to spend with them and consider it heaven. I am reminded of a famous Kural (couplet) in Tamil where the poet Thiruvalluvar says “வையத்துள் வாழ்வாங்கு வாழ்பவன் வான்உறையும் தெய்வத்துள் வைக்கப் படும்” which translates to – “One who lives on earth in a righteous conjugal manner will find themselves elevated to the ranks of the divine in heaven!”
