I love Carnatic fusion, so when the “Raaja by Raga” event was announced, featuring classically tuned versions of Maestro Ilayaraja’s songs performed by the singer duo Ranjani-Gayathri, I eagerly dragged some of my friends to the music show. I believe this was the last live performance I saw. Of course, the Raga sisters are performing again in September, and I may attend that as well.
