Oh my! This Sanskrit verse comes to mind after reading this prompt: न खलु कालक्षेपः श्रेयसे। (from Hanumannataka), which translates to “Wasting time is of no good.” Interestingly, while “कालक्षेपः” in the language means passing of time , in the Srivaishnava sampradaya, it signifies the enriching practice of listening to epics and Puranas. :)
So now, I’d ideally like to “pass” time the Srivaishnava way by immersing myself in the literature. My mind (ahem!) forbids me from idling away time unproductively, so I’m not going to write about all the time I spend browsing, or in malls and theaters. :)
