I like this prompt! A teacher should embody patience, compassion, and extensive knowledge. It’s crucial to focus not only on the students who grasp concepts quickly but also on those who struggle. I recall having teachers in school who would put students down in front of everyone. To be honest, I hated those classes.
Now that I am a teacher myself, I realize how challenging this job is. However, I always ensure that my students leave the class feeling better.
This prompt also reminds me of a funny verse:
वाच्यतां समयोऽतीतः स्पष्टमग्रे भविष्यति। इति पाठयतां ग्रन्थे काठिन्यं कुत्र वर्तते।।
“What text could be hard to teach if a teacher simply tells the class: ‘keep reading,’ ‘we don’t have time today,’ or ‘it will all become clear later’?” :)
