I came across an intriguing article on omens today, and I’d like to share a brief summary:
- You may see a fox, but you shouldn’t hear its sound.
- You may hear a donkey’s bray, but you shouldn’t see it.
- You should neither see nor hear an owl.
- You may both see and hear an eagle.
Fascinating, right? People usually visit zoos and farms to observe donkeys and owls in person—just for fun! I’m not sure if anyone has ever noticed anything, or maybe these superstitions only come into play when you start something new. I have many questions on my mind after reading this, but no answers at the moment. Thank goodness, I sometimes sit on my terrace and spot eagles, and I’m glad to know that it’s a good sign :) Now, this might seem like old-fashioned folklore, and some might wonder whether these beliefs hold any relevance in our modern, scientific age. But ultimately, it’s up to you to either embrace these ancient sayings or dismiss them as mere superstitions. As for me, I’m documenting them as I discover them.
