Today was an eventful day as I achieved my exercise goal! This long weekend started with gloomy weather, but today, the Sun finally made an appearance, peeking out with a touch of cool breeze. So, I took the opportunity to hike up to the falls. It was a medium-level hike, and I loved every minute of it—much-needed exercise!
Although I usually walk on the gym track, it’s just not the same as hiking in nature with my trusty hiking shoes. Speaking of which, I treated myself to a pair of OC hiking shoes from REI during the long weekend sale. And yes, being the color enthusiast that I am, I chose a gorgeous purple pair. I can’t wait to break them in on my next hike!
Sure, I usually hit my fitness goals most days, but today was special—I tackled a mountainous waterfall trail! And for the first time, I actually remembered to post about fitness, which was the very topic I intended to blog about when I first started this journey!
(Just a little note—I picked up the annual pass, which gives me all the more reason to hit the trails whenever the weather cooperates!)
