(Gentle Remedy)

Q: What should be nurtured with Love?
A: Compassion (towards the distressed), and friendship (with the virtuous).
— This line implies that true love or endearment lies in compassion and virtuous relationships.

Q: Who is dumb (speechless)?
A: He who does not know how to speak pleasant or appropriate words at the right time.
— The value of timely, kind speech is emphasized.

Q: What is the true ornament?
A: Good character (śīla).
— Moral character is considered more precious than external adornments

Q: Who does not suffer sorrow?
A: One who is free from anger.
— A mind free of anger remains undisturbed and sorrowless.

These four Q&As captured my heart. I genuinely want to be free from anger, wear good conduct as my ornament, speak kindly—or stay silent—and show compassion to everyone, especially those who are suffering. I’ve come to realize that people who suffer often don’t talk about it . It’s up to us to notice that and respond with care.

I also realized that
