Makkale, last year my post was all about why Śrī Sannidhi śiṣyas celebrated on a different day from the rest of the world. This year, alas, everyone has decided to join us and celebrate on the same day.
But of course, Śrī Sannidhi sampradāya has to stay one step ahead! While everyone else observes this great day by fasting, we celebrate it with a grand feast. 😄
With that important theological distinction firmly established 😜, let’s delve into a padya adiyen composed on Lord Kṛṣṇa.
And yes, I am putting my own padya on my own blog.
। ~ इन्द्रवज्रावृत्तम्
यादवाभ्युदये स्वामिदेशिकविरचितपद्यप्राप्तचिन्तना।I’m giving myself a little pat on the back for this composition 😄 — though, of course, the inspiration comes from none other than Swami Desika. 🙏
And with that, Happy Śrī Jayanthi, makkale!
