What could you let go of, for the sake of harmony?
Ego and Anger? The Bhagavad Gita teaches, “निर्ममो निरहङ्कारस्स शान्तिमधिगच्छति” – one who is free from possessiveness and arrogance attains peace. Regarding anger, the Bhagavad Gita also says –
क्रोधाद्भवति सम्मोह: सम्मोहात्स्मृतिविभ्रम:।
स्मृतिभ्रंशाद् बुद्धिनाशो बुद्धिनाशात्प्रणश्यति।।
Anger clouds judgment, leading to the bewilderment of memory. When memory falters, the intellect is destroyed, and with the destruction of intellect comes ruin.
Of course, I understand these principles are easy to memorize, write, and discuss in speeches. However, adhering to them is incredibly challenging. Nonetheless, this is my answer to the prompt!
